Which Plug Do I Need?

Turn your phone over and look at the socket on the bottom edge. It will be one of these three.

A USB-C plug going into the bottom edge of a phone

USB-C

A small flattened oval. This is the socket on most phones sold in the last few years.

Pick: USB-C

A 3.5 mm plug going into the bottom edge of a phone

3.5 mm

A small round hole, the size of a headphone jack. Usually on the bottom edge, sometimes on the top.

Pick: 3.5 mm

A 3.5 mm plug in a Lightning adapter going into the bottom edge of an iPhone

Lightning

A slim flat slot, on iPhones from the iPhone 5 to the iPhone 14 and every iPhone SE. We don't make a Lightning handset, so you need the 3.5 mm handset and our Lightning Adapter.

Pick: 3.5 mm, and tick the Lightning Adapter

Got a Lightning iPhone? Here's what to do

1. On the product page, choose the 3.5 mm plug. Not USB-C.

2. Tick + Add Lightning Adapter under the price.

3. When it arrives, plug the handset into the adapter, then the adapter into your phone.

We don't sell a separate Lightning cable. The adapter is the only way to connect a Lightning iPhone, and it only fits the 3.5 mm handset.

Still not sure? Send us a photo of the bottom of your phone at greyfoxcommerce@outlook.com and we'll tell you which one to pick.
